Dear Band Director,

           

 First, I hope that everyone has had a fantastic summer and you all have had great camps to begin the 2016/2017 school year. I would like to personally invite you and your band to be a part of the Smith Lake Invitational to be held at Curry High School, on October 15, 2016. This will be the 19th year we have hosted Fantastic Bands like yours in Hudson/O’Rear Stadium.

 

Our goal is to provide a contest format where the students can be fairly judged in a positive manner, and celebrate this activity that we all love. We want each band to be evaluated on what you do and how well you do it and receive helpful suggestions for improvement. We hope to see you in October!
